ITS freaken Hot!!!
Its gonna be hot, hot , hot!
No sign of rain, until Friday or Saturday. At this point pasco county is not in a severe drought, but we are close. My lawn says we are....
I sure hope this year isn't a bust with tropical weather. we could use all the rain it brings. Watching the water temps, I wouldn't be surprised to see some early action.
What we need to do is all get together and do a rain dance to put out those fires in south Georgia!! I hope they don't go in the swamps I was watching the news last night and the weather dude said if it goes in the swamps it would be impossible to follow.
Mrs.Dew wanna join me in a dance...

Of course the storms from the cold front will be over night and into the morning i have to work in the morning.I will still bring my camera with me you never know.
yesterday storms in Texas has me wishing it was the year to start chasing. I am know where near ready. So much to learn, i can't go by instinct anymore.

Another rainy day
Well day two of the beautiful rain,The ground is thoroughly saturated.
I moved last week, a big move too... to the house next door.
Let me tell you adjusting to the new neighbor is hard..lol
I love this house, I now have a fenced in yard for my dogs and my boy.
plus ceramic tile every where but the bedrooms.
I glad its not to active out there right now because with cleaning and putting everything away i would of missed it .I haven't been on the computer to much. Sometime I steel a free moment and play around, like now . I should be putting my last couples boxes away., but well here i am.
It looks like we should more rain up until thursday, with only light chance of rain but then another cold front is coming through this weekend giving us more chance of rain and cooler weather. We should enjoy it now before the 90's start popping up. I have A feeling were in for one hot summer. Well time to get my son ready for bed, freetime over.

William Gray hurricane prediction
Forecaster William Gray said he expects 17 named storms in all this year, five of them major hurricanes with sustained winds of 111 mph or greater. The probability of a major hurricane making landfall on the U.S. coast this year: 74 percent, compared with the average of 52 percent over the past century, he said.
Last year, Gray's forecast and government forecasts were higher than what the Atlantic hurricane season produced.
There were 10 named Atlantic storms in 2006 and five hurricanes, two of them major, in what was considered a "near normal" season. None of those hurricanes hit the U.S. Atlantic coast — only the 11th time that has occurred since 1945. The
National Hurricane Center in Miami originally reported nine storms, but upgraded one storm after a postseason review.
Gray's research team at Colorado State University said an unexpected late El Nino contributed to the calmer season last year. El Nino — a warming in the Pacific Ocean — has far-reaching effects that include changing wind patterns in the eastern Atlantic, which can disrupt the formation of hurricanes there.
A weak to moderate El Nino occurred in December and January but dissipated rapidly, said Phil Klotzbach, a member of Gray's team.
"Conditions this year are likely to be more conducive to hurricanes," Klotzbach said Tuesday. In the absence of El Nino, "winds aren't tearing the storm systems apart."
The team's forecasts are based on global oceanic and atmospheric conditions.
Klotzbach advised coastal residents along the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico to have hurricane plans and preparedness kits in place, but he added, "You can't let the possibility of a hurricane coming ruin your summer."
The Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to Nov. 30, averages 9.6 named storms, 5.9 hurricanes and 2.3 intense hurricanes per year.
The devastating 2005 season set a record with 28 named storms, 15 of them hurricanes. Four of those hurricanes hit the U.S. coast, the worst among them Katrina, which devastated New Orleans and leveled parts of the Gulf Coast region.
I pray New Orleans is spared this season , hopefully some will come a little closer to the west coast of Florida!!! With any luck!!!
