What do you see?
My son sees a horse, what do you see?
We are into summer time patterns here in Florida this week it looks like the west coast of Florida will be seeing some rain and perhaps some strong seabreeze storms. Remember the storms pop up with little warning so about 4pm start keeping your eyes to the sky. This is what NOAA is saying:THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVING OVER THE AREA WILL PROVIDE
COOLER AIR ALOFT AND ADDITIONAL INSTABILITY COMBINED WITH DAYTIME
HEATING AND SEABREEZE INTERACTIONS TO PRODUCE SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING. STORMS ARE EXPECT
TO DEVELOP ON THE WEST COAST SEABREEZE EARLY THIS AFTERNOON THEN
BECOME ENHANCED LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING IN COASTAL
AND INTERIOR AREAS AS THE EAST COAST SEABREEZE MOVES OVER THE
FLORIDA PENINSULA ON SOUTHEASTERLY STEERING FLOW TO PUSH THE
ACTIVITY BACK TOWARDS THE WEST COAST AND INTO THE EASTERN GULF.
SOME STORM MAY BE STRONG WITH THE MAIN THREATS BEING LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL...HAIL...FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
WINDS. WITH NUMEROUS BOUNDARY INTERACTIONS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON
AN ISOLATED TORNADO MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE.
SPOTTERS SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER AND SELF ACTIVATE IF NEEDED.
Last evening we had a small sun shower cooling off the rest of the evening, giving us overcast skies until sunset.
So as a spotter I will be on stand by, I do have to work tonight but i have my spotter card with me and my camera. Have a great Monday!!!!
