We should all pray that the trough of low pressure that is expected to swing down over the Eastern U.S. on Monday, is weak. It could very well pull Alex northwards through the oil slick region into the northern Gulf of Mexico coast.
Most models are saying that the trough will be weak enough that Alex will cross the Yucatan, emerge into the Gulf of Mexico, then slow down as the trough to its north weakens the steering currents in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday. By Tuesday, the influence of the trough will wane, high pressure will build in, and Alex will resume a west-northwest, or possibly a due west or west-southwest motion, towards the Texas/Mexico border region. That is what Dr.Jeff Masters is saying. I just hope we get some moisture in the air so I can have me some fun watching the storm build then explode.
He He any who keeping my eye Alex watching 94L and always keeping my eyes to the sky!

Tornado fest in the plains, Sunny and beautiful in Florida
Weird, my dog the lizard slayer.
I have windows 7 on my laptop which is cool cause you can have your windows side by side so as i write this I have on ChaserTV . A very cool web site for this time of the year. I am watching a awesome storm right now, the shelf clouds are amazing. I wish there was sound, the wind is what I love, the many different sound that it makes. Music to my ears.
Kansas and Oklahoma got nailed yesterday, numerous tornado reports A beautiful multivortex Tornado was caught on video you can see that on Chaser TV
Today looks good for another round of beautiful storms, I so wish I was there. Right now i am there virtually with David Drummond in Kansas, riding along wishing for sound.
Florida weather,Gotta love it. If your into Beautiful blue skies, white puffy clouds
and a warm genital breeze on your shoulders.
There is no rain in our forecast.
Jordan is getting big, three months old now and what a cutie!!
Still hard to believe I am a grandma, where did the time go... Speaking of time it's time to make dinner.
But before I go, I did catch an anvil last week, way inland.A beautiful Seabreeze storm. It didn't last long they never do here. I will end this entry with those photo's.
Keep your eyes on the sky!

Chance of rain coming back into the forcast
We have been stuck in the same weather pattern for awhile now, We haven't seen rain in 2 weeks, so much for April showers.
.SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-SUNDAY)...HIGH PRESSURE WILL START OUT THE
SHORT TERM PERIOD IN CONTROL OF THE WEATHER. THE HIGH WILL BE
CENTERED NEARLY OVERHEAD BY TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR MUCH LESS
OF A GRADIENT...AND DECENT RADIATIONAL COOLING TO OCCUR TONIGHT.
FOR SATURDAY...THIS HIGH NEARLY OVERHEAD WILL ALSO ALLOW FOR THE
AFTERNOON WEST COAST SEABREEZE TO RETURN WITH THE LACK OF GRADIENT
FLOW. SO SHADED TEMPS A TOUCH COOLER TO THE WEST ALONG THE
COAST...BUT EVEN STILL IT SHOULD WARM TO NEAR NORMAL EVERYWHERE.
BY LATE IN THE DAY CLOUDS WILL BE INCREASING FROM THE SOUTH. THIS
WILL BE AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM BEGINS TO DEVELOP NEAR THE
YUCATAN PENINSULA. DEVELOPING H5 TROUGHING WILL HELP TO DEEPEN THE
SURFACE LOW AND PUSH IT UP THE FLORIDA STRAITS BY SUNDAY. THIS
WILL RESULT IN MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES...AND CHANCES OF RAIN AND
THUNDERSTORMS...WITH TEMPERATURES A FEW DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR
THESE REASONS.
With my fingers crossed I sure do hope I will see some thunderstorms,Its been a long time since I heard the sound of thunder. Oh how I miss it.
Living back at my childhood home has brought back a lot of memory's. One I get to relive is the sound of the wind through the pine trees,Austrian pines. What a wonderful song they sing. I love all the trees in the back yard.

Spring Time, Lost time....
First I had only one computer and I just couldn't compete with my husband and my son.
Plus my camera took a shiz. I did get my computer a lap top, so now i can make time for my blogs. Another reason is life, ya know sometimes it gets overwhelming and Really didn't want to record that part. That is why I write or blog is to record my thoughts and weather for the time. I think it is cool that i can share that with others who choose to read it. Hurricane season for 2009 was ruled by El Nino. There was only 9 name storms.
It did rain a lot which is good because as i have written in the past it had been pretty dry. Winter was incredible. Several states broke record lows. I who have who was born and raised here in Florida, never saw it so cold for so long. Working in a factory with no heat sucked the big one.
December 9,2009 My mom died, heart attack. She was only 58. She had gotten the H1N1 flu shot 7 days prior and got real sick 2 days after, throwing up and diarrhea. She called out of work Monday tried to come in on Tuesday but here boss sent here home. She was real weak. My brother who is 22 lives at home with mom, my dad died in 2002 after a long fight with cancer. Anyway my mom called the doctor told them she had the flu and they prescribe her pepto bismal she died before 1pm on Wednesday. My brother talked to her in the morning and went to his room took a nap and when he came out he called her name out when she didn't answer he went to check on her and she was dead.Ted My brother called me after the police got there. I was in total shock. Her official cause of death was cardiac arrest do to influenza. I was renting a house in Port Richey with no lease so i gave the owner a month and half heads up I was moving. I now live in this house with my brother who is socially challenged. He has never worked and is extremely shy. Lord give me strength. I am updating the house which may I add is 54 years old. I am in probate but it should be done with it by May. I am gonna sell this house even though it has the best yard ever. The house sits on a double lot. The back yard is huge. My dog Maddie is loving it. But both my parents died in this house, It's hard to be here. To many memory's.
Febuary 10,2010 Jordan Christopher Norris was born, my grandson.
Yup I am a grandma. My daughter who is 22 is a wonderful new mom. I will have many Pictures coming.
So now it is April, It has been a cold wet winter and I welcome spring with open arms.
El Nino is showing signs of weakening and their calling for a an active hurricane season. I have my my fingers crossed.
For now I go with a promise to myself to write everyday.
Remember: Keep your eyes to the sky!
